In order to expedite the preparations for the 14th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), members of the organizing committee met in Beijing on June 19th, 2007. 

    The Secretariat of the Organizing Committee first reported to the member entities about the general plan of the conference, current preparations and the exhibition of Chinese ITS. The participants fully affirmed the efforts of the Secretariat and made suggestions to issues relevant to the preparation. 

    The conference will be characterized with Chinese features while complying with international norms. By this opportunity, China will show its achievements in the ITS area in the last several decades.
